In 2024 I retired after 35 years of producing my annual Melbourne Cup booklet. I spent the time searching for someone to take over from me. I was veryspecific about the person I wanted to succeed me, so I searched and searched all over Australia for the 'right person'.

It was worth the wait...for I found Lew Dub...who is has the same devotion to the Melbourne Cup as I have had for so many years. My intention is to 'hang around' for as long as Lew needs me in order to have a smooth transition.
